Nina informed us that you want to know the future situation with the "Revival". The situation is unpleasant. As we can't provide finances, we are now discussing the possibility to close "Revival".

Now, because of the increase in prices for gas, electricity, land rent, etc.the treatment for one child costs 2700 hrn.(it's about 225 pounds). Each year we have 550 children for rehabilitation. Total cost is about 120 000 pounds. "Revival" gets funds from two sources. City government gave 378000 hrn. (31,5 thousand pounds), all the rest - Charity funds. At the beginning of this year we had money for 6 months. Now George and Chris are giving us 30 000 pounds, Ruskin University sent us 3000 pounds, but still we lack 15-17 thousand pounds to finish this year.

Maybe we'll manage to provide funds for this year, but there are no projects for the future. Unfortunately we'll have to accept this difficult option. We are very sorry that these 550 children from poor families won't be able to get rehabilitation.

We are very grateful to you Richard, to Nina and to all your team for being with us for so many years and that your organization created such a wonderful Centre, which is highly approved not only in Ukraine, but also by experts from Unisef. You and Nina will always be like father and mother for the "Revival".

Maybe something will happen and we'll be able to celebrate 20th anniversary of the "Revival".

With love and thanks

Dr. P
