Each year we hold major events.

The type of event is varied. Some events we organise ourselves, and other event organisers allow us to appear as the benefactor of the event

Events range from 

  • Dog Shows
  • Dances
  • Golf Days
  • Coffee Mornings
  • Tony Lanyon of Stebbing hosted Opera At The Lakes
  • Jamie and Judy Mackay rode from John O'groats to Lands End and from Dover to Cape Wrath on their tandem. They want to cycle to Ukraine in 2010 to raise funds.
  • Landyrally was Rhoda and Derek Herbert's rally driving through 11 countries in 9 days for us in October. Neil Rodrigues ran the Oslo Marathon in Norway recently for us.
  • Great Dumow Inner Wheel raised funds for us in October with a Ukrainian evening.
  • Robert and Jilly Osbourne ran a Quiz Night very successfully.
  • Shirley and Matt Foster held a coffee evening which was very enjoyable and also a whist drive and raised £170.00 for which we are very grateful.
  • Felsted held their Clebration Day of their lovely new childrens park and playing field and we were able to run a Bric-a-Brac stall and raised £330.00 which was wonderful

CHERNIHIV CHALLENGE
Jamie and Judy Mackay will be leaving the UK on 9th July 2010 to cycle on their tandem bike from Felsted to Chernihev, Ukraine arriving on the 30th July. They are hoping to raise £10.000 for the treatment of children at the "Revival" rehabilitation centre which treats over 1600 children annually due to the genetic effects of Chernobyl and poverty.

GOLF DAY

26th August 2010 at Forrester Park Golf Club. 18 holes. Full English breakfast and lunch followed by charity auction and presentations. £40.00. Players and teams please contact Bob Bell 07854 786444
